If it's your first time using Ploom X and EVO tobacco sticks, you'll need to connect it to a power source with the USB cable provided to unlock shipping mode. The LED light will flash 10 times and you will feel a long vibration, your device is now ready to use.

Here's how to use your Ploom X:

1. Slide the cover open.
2. Put the EVO tobacco stick into the device, making sure to align the printed line to the top of the device.
3. Press and hold the button area until your Ploom X vibrates. You'll be able to see your heating progress on the light strip.
4. When your Ploom X is ready to go (about 25 seconds), the light strip will flash and you will feel two short vibrations.
5. Enjoy your Ploom session.
6. When you've got 20 seconds left, your Ploom X will vibrate and the light strip will pulse slowly. Once you feel one long vibration, your session is finished.

Each Ploom session lasts 5 minutes and you can take an unlimited amount of puffs.

You can enjoy up to 22 sessions on one full charge and up to 3 consecutive sessions before your device needs to cool down, as this will help you avoid your device overheating and allow you to get the best out of your battery. With every Ploom X session, you'll get unlimited puffs.

One EVO tobacco stick will last for one session, and you shouldn't re-use a tobacco stick. Once you've ended the session, your Ploom device will turn itself off (you'll know this is happening because you'll feel a long vibration and see the lights turn off). Take out your used EVO tobacco stick carefully - it might be hot straight after you've used it. You can leave it in a stick tray until it cools down, and then put it in the bin.
